We have been using your products for about 10 years...first for
our show 1965 Mustang and now for our corvettes. We have told so
many folks about your products... It is the only product that I
will use on my corvette. I finally got my husband to use your
Finish first instead of Meguire's..Yup, that is right .... On more
for you folks. Don't ever stop producing it!!! Thank you..
Ann from Oregon
I have been using your products on my boat and I am starting a
Fishing tackle web site and would love to act as a dealer for the
marine product. Let me know if this is possible. Thanks.
John from Texas
I have used both the finish first auto polish and the prep, on
my boat and my vehicles, excellent product.
Jim from Ontario
I'm very pleased with your products. I own a landscaping business
and plow snow (and terrible salt) everyone always asks me why my
trucks are so clean. All your products work very well and with
ease of use. My brother in law visited over the summer and used
Finish first on his Lexus, he was amazed with how easy it was to
apply and how the road dirt didn't stick to the paint as it did
with other waxes. He is also very pleased. Thanks for making
a great product!! Keep up the good work.
Paul from Maryland
I have been using Finish First for 4 years now. I have to tell
you that everything that I own that has a paint finish on it
received Finish first including my model cars. I currently own
a 1998 Mustang GT. I both the car with many swirl marks on it as
the previous owner "tried" to buff the car out. I put a coat of
Finish First on the car and it simply took the swirl marks out of
the paint. I then had an idea to make the car to a relative of
mine that owns a body shop to paint my new Cowl Induction hood.
He called me and asked me what I was using for "wax" and I told
hem that I did not use wax, I used Finish First. His exact words
to me were "this finish is awesome", I put my buffing wheel on the
roof of the car, and it slide off the car like you had a layer of
ice on the paint. I want some and want to offer it for sale in my
body shop". Needless to say, he is now using the product. I also
own a 2006 Dodge Ram pickup and a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica and both
vehicles have many coats of Finish First on them. How easy it is
to just spray the bugs off of the paint when traveling. Love it,
love it, love it. Loved it so much, had to start selling it.
Thank you finish first for the opportunity and you will be happy to
know, that I now have the local corvette club buying it from me.
Donni from Fargo, ND
It has been about 5 years that I have used this product and the car
still looks like it came off the showroom floor, with no swirl marks
on it. Thanks
Joe S
I've used Finish First Polish as the first and only polish
since I bought my 1990 Mercury Grand Marquis--the finish looks as
good as it did when I drove it out of the showroom. My doctor
neighbor saw how well it preserved the finish on my car--he began
using it on his Mecedes!

Just finished putting 3 coats of Finish First Polish on my '06
Xterra. Your product is amazing. Easy to put on, much faster than
wax. And what a glossy, glass like finish & no swirls.

I am writing to tell you how much we like the product "Finish
First". We are using it on a Learjet 60 and Learjet 55 with great
results. It is very easy to use, holds up under the extreme
temperature and weather conditions that a jet airplane is subjected
to, and makes the airplane look great. It gives a very deep 'wet'
look to the finish. As a matter of fact, the airplane is so slippery
from using your product that we have to warn mechanics to use
caution when standing on the wing because they will slide off...and
they have. This slipperiness does translate into fuel savings
because of the reduction in parasitic drag. Thanks for your quick
responses in getting our order filled each time.
Dan, Hunt Aviation
I drive a white Dakota Club Cab and my wife drives a white
Intrepid. White is a very popular color in San Antonio, Texas
because of the intense heat of out nine month summer. I have always
loved the shine of dark cars, but the heat makes them unbearable.
So, I thought I'd have to settle for an ok white vehicle. Not so!
Finish first makes them incredibly shiny. My vehicles now have all
of the wet, glossy look of any dark car! The finish is wonderful and
unaffected by our intense sun.

A good friend has a Lexus ES300 that has been serviced by a Lexus
dealer that washes the car in some automated carwash every service
period. Result? An overall haze to the pearl finish. Friend was
convinced that the paint was permanently compromised. I spent less
than a hour helping him put on a coat of Finish First; the car cured
overnight and we hand buffed it using some cotton towels in about 20
minutes. Result was sensational: under the fierce fluorescent lights
of his garage, we could not find a streak or sign of the former
haze. Friend was impressed. I've now used Finish First on a red
Subaru GT, a white Subaru Outback, the above Lexus, and a 1988
Mustang convertible and it is impossible for me to picture any paint
treatment equaling the depth of shine on these cars.

I am writing to let you know how pleased I am with Finish First.
I have used the product on my personal vehicles as well as the
Stratos boats that I promote and demo throughout the Northeast and
Midwest. As you know, I travel through some of the most severe
weather conditions and can say that Finish First is the only polish
I have found that will withstand the punishment of winter weather,
salt and pollutants. By applying the recommended two to three
applications of Finish First, I have found on many occasions that I
am able to "dry wipe" my truck and boat prior to a demo when a car
wash was not available, and still have my products look like
showroom condition. There have been several times where I have had a
salt film on my truck, drive through a rain storm, and it looks like
I went through a car wash! This stuff is amazing that nothing sticks
to it and it holds up for a long time! I am now getting ready to
apply another coat to my truck and boat, although they look like new
after six months on the road. I don't mind polishing any more
because of the ease of using Finish First. It wipes on and off
without all of the hard work of the rubbing and buffing! Also I like
the Liqui-Tech Protectant as it shines up everything without the
greasy, slippery residue that are common with other products. I used
to spend hundreds of dollars on the so called professional
applications by car dealers and other specialty car care companies.
No more! I really feel Finish First is a better product, easier to
apply (no machine buffing). and is the best value for the money!
Many of my boat dealers are now stocking Finish First in their
showrooms. They know a good thing when they see it and are making a
profit both by applying Finish First for their customers and selling
the cans directly. Once a customer sees how good the polish is,
sales are automatic! I'm sold.

My trip to the TRANS-AM NATIONALS in Dayton, OH turned out to be
a very happy time because I was introduced to your product Finish
First. I just couldn't wait to return home to get started polishing
my 1978 Gold Trans-Am. The first application was a definite
improvement over any product I ever used and the second coat was
much better. Now the real test a third coat. I let it dry overnight,
wiped of the haze and saw the brightest shine my Trans-Am ever had.
The final test, a fourth coat was applied and left to dry overnight.
The next day I started to remove the haze and got very excited at
the deep, deep gloss. It looked as though I took my car to a auto
body shop and several coats of clear coat applied. Just think how
much cheaper Finish First is then going to a body shop. The proof
was at the first car show near Philadelphia. The minute I turned off
the car I was surrounded by a crowd of admiring onlookers, this
never happened at any other car show. This went on all days and I
felt quite proud of my car and felt elated when I received a first
place trophy in my class. I know without a doubt your product was
the reason for my success at the last two car shows and hopefully
many more 1st place trophy's to come.
Dick H
I have been happy with it, I have put about 5 coats on one car. I most appreciate the ease of application and removal.
Thanks
Kraig
I am getting expected tremendous results from my Finish First Polish, love it! And it's so easy...... so painless.
Thanks Again,
Doug
I put two coats on my Boxster as well as a coat on my in-law's Rivera, and
it's AMAZING stuff! I still have some more testing to do, but I'm extremely
pleased with the products so far.
Lew
I used the finish first polish this weekend. I love it. It did everything your
web site said it would. It went on easy, came off even easier! And the shine
is great.
Thanks
Pam
I used the polish on my 89 Lexus LS400, and it worked just like I expected it
to work. I was pleased with the ease of application, and the results. I
purchased the kit for my new Audi A4 with Pearl White paint, which I expect to
take delivery in August.
Thank you for a fine product.

Hi -I just used it finally last week. My truck is new so I figured how hard
could the job be. The wash was great - soapy and actually cleaned!
I went straight to the polish and my clear coat black truck feels like
silk and had none of those annoying swirly, greasy streaks. I only put
one coat on and plan to do another in a couple of weeks. (Even my
husband was impressed - not an easy task!) - I polished windows for the
first time - it really makes a difference.
I again was pleased with the vinyl and tire protectant. It cleaned
nicely without a shiny greasy look. And the color is staying pretty
good on my tires. I have a friend who will be ordering soon. Glad I found you.
Susan
I polished the hood and roof of my car, I haven't got around to the rest (it
started to rain). It looks great. Also, the protectant is great, too.
Sal
I am very pleased with the product, so much so that I made a second order. It
works particularly well on the granite countertops in my house. I find that it
lasts about 3 months on cars. Count me as a satisfied
customer. Thanks.
Pat
I've used the wash on my CRV and my wife's LeSabre. I've also used the vinyl
conditioner inside. Both worked well. I have yet to find a day to do all the
steps necessary to completely protect the CRV but am counting the days.
Jim Beletti
I put 2 coats on my 97 Z28 and I must say that Finish First is the best polish
I have ever used! You guys make a great product!
Mike
I did use Finish First on my car a couple weeks ago. It was pretty easy to
use, and so far I am very pleased with the results. I was using another wax
product before, and I could see the finish deterioration over time. Finish
First seemed to bring back the deeper shine it once had. I would also like to
state that I was very pleased with the process of purchasing Finish First. I
don't normally buy products over the internet, but your company delivered what
I ordered within a few days.
Thanks again
Richard
I have used the Finish Fast to clean off some bird droppings and it did a
fantastic jop - very easy and very quick.

John
REVIEW: FINISH FIRST POLISH
Swirl marks in paint are a nightmare to remove if you don't have the appropriate
polish products, and most of them are destructive, meaning, they will literally
remove small portions of paint or clear coat to obtain the desired results.
Most Polish products use some kind of abrasive material to "sand" the surface
in order to get the surface smooth again. So if you use one of these products
for long enough, you will end polishing the bare metal. Granted, this will
take quite a while, but at some spots in any car, the thickness of paint is
very small.
My project cars are a fine example of those nightmare swirl marks, my wife's
black VW Passat (no clear coat), and my Black 95 Mustang GT (Clear coated).
Both cars had very pronounced swirl marks, mostly due to weather and improper
polishing. Both cars are not kept in a closed garage, so exposure to dust, sun
and acid rain have taken their toll on the painted surfaces.
The Mustang was the one with the most pronounced damage, and some body parts
had to be painted and clear coated since the paint started to show small cracks
at some spots, mostly the hood and roof, and the paint shop suspected a bad
prep or a clear coat defect from the factory.
I also once took the car to a detailing shop to have the car "professionally
polished", the result.... a fight with the owner, someone's mother
remembrance, and a GT that looked a lot worse than before. I got my money
back and promised never to trust a "professional" again.
The VW Passat shows the clear signs of a normally aged paint, swirl marks and
some dents that originated probably in some Shopping mall around Mexico City.
After my experience with "professional" detailers, i started looking for a
product that was really clear coat safe, and that will really get rid of the
swirl marks for good. I used most brand recognized products, like Mothers and Meguiars with very good results, but in my honest opinion (IMHO), their polish compounds are not 100% effective, a few washes and some exposure to acid rain and dust, and the car will return to its previous state in a few weeks.
Then I "met" Chris Johnson in the Net, he told me his product will solve my
problem.
At first I though; "yes, sure, this is probably another internet scam", but
after reading some reviews about FINISH FIRST POLISH, I thought that it might
be worth a shot and try it firsthand, and so I contacted Chris and ordered a
pint of their LT-100 polish.
Finish First Polish is advertised to be a mix of polymers that will bond to
the surface of the paint and will really cover the swirl marks. The more coats
you apply the thicker the cover.
This concept sounded familiar to me, remember the AURI products?, those
products were the ones based on TEFLON, which will bond to the surface and
will provide a super TEFLON COATED protection... scam, scam..., since Teflon
is a solid, and there is NO WAY a solid Teflon particle mixed in a liquid
suspension could work as advertised, those little Teflon particles will
surely be washed out by the first rain or wash.
But anyway, I tried Finish First.. and it worked.
I was careful to follow the product instructions step by step:
Wash the car and clean the surface to remove all traces of old wax.
Apply a thin coat of FINISH FIRST to entire car and let it dry for a couple of
hours, remove the stuff and then wait 24 hours and apply a second coat.
The result: it really makes a difference.
There are still some small swirl marks but, not like before, I expect better
results with more coats (as advertised).
The paint surface feels VERY SMOOTH, nothing like the results obtained with
other products.
I started the process a Friday night, washed the car and removed old wax using
MOTHERS PRE-WAX Cleaner, Finish First recommends using their Finish Prep Pre-
cleaner but I didn't buy the stuff so I used Mother's instead, then I applied
one coat of FINISH FIRST and let it dry until Saturday morning when I removed
the stuff. Sunday I washed car again and applied a second coat.
Saturday I noticed some swirl marks were gone, but to be honest I was a little
disappointed, but when I applied the second coat on Sunday and buffed it,
magic.. it looked a lot better.
To really have a point of reference I skipped one spot a few inches long in a
front fender in order to judge the results, this spot looked dull and with a
lot of swirl marks, but the rest of the car looked awesome.
So far I'm very pleased with the results, I washed the car Monday morning and
the water beading was amazing.. nothing like it with other products.
I will apply more coats over the following weekends, so stay tuned for more
info.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND FINISH FIRST POLISH.
Product Claims:
Finish First is the most technologically advanced auto polish on the market
today. Based upon a recently developed high-tech polymer, Finish First works
by laying down a tough polymer film onto the surface of automotive paint,
which confers a deep, rich gloss on the automobile and protects the paint from
air and water-borne contaminants. The polish is able to build up layers of
this durable and weather-resistant film to increase protection and enrich the
depth of gloss.
Procedure:
Step 1 is to use the Wash and Conditioner. Pour one cap full of the Wash in a
Wash Mitt, they seem to work the best also saves you a lot of product that
way. Then hose the car off and dry.
Step 2 is the PreCleaner. This a great product which removes the tar, road
film and tree sap. Apply it in a back and forth motion. DO NOT APPLY IT IN A
CIRCULAR MOTION. Your car will look great after the PreCleaner but there's
more.
Step 3. Apply the Polish and leave it on as long a you like. I went for 3
hours, boy the Polish comes off so easy. The more coats you apply the better
the protection, I went for 4 coats.
Review:
The Polish so far has lasted for 8 months. With all the rain we are having
here in Northern California it still leaves my car in GREAT SHAPE with no
Water Marks.
Finish First
4 out of 5 Stars
Initial reaction to this product is very positive. Application and buffing is
easy on the arms, although the dusty residue left behind is quite
considerable. Excellent shine, good depth of color and clarity. We haven't
tested the "leave it on for 15 days and buff it out later" claim yet, though
we plan to. 8) Again, as it is early in the test cycle, we cannot determine
the durability and consistency in shine over time, however we expect it will
last about as long as other synthetics we've tested. Price is running close to
the "Fake Zymol", about $18 / 16oz bottle.
Update 30 July, 1996: The shine and slickness on the Firebird continues to
hold up very nicely. Durability feels good, but the car is now garaged full
time, so we'll have to adjust accordingly.
Aftermarket Field Test Products Wax's and Polishes
Review:
This product is by far the best product we've tested to date! We'll take you
step by step through the application of this product. First off the car was
stripped of all wax and polish leaving a nice fresh paint job. Then was driven
for about two days, of which it rained and the car got dirty. The first day
that the sun started shining again, we decided to go ahead and do the car (not
that it was dusty had anything to do with it). We read all directions first...
added three caps of the Finish First Wash and conditioner to a gallon of warm
water, we used a cotton detailers wash rag and washed the car, one panel at a
time and rinsed it as we finished each panel. We used two gallons of water and
6 caps of wash on the car. Once the car was washed, we used a leather shammy
and dried the car. There was a little road tar, and also some rubber from the
back tires on the front and back fender wells, so we decided to use the Finish
First Pre Cleaner which removes oxidation, surface scratches, water spots,
tar, tree sap, and road film. We applied the amount of a dime to a soft cotton
rag, and applied it to an area where the tar and rubber was. I WAS VERY
IMPRESSED with how easy the tar and rubber rubbed right off the car. It was
very easy to apply, and removal is instant. We just flipped the rag over and
wiped it clean with little effort. I was so impressed with how easy the
application and removal was, I decided to go ahead and do the whole car. I
repeated the process on the whole car changing rags as needed. After the pre-
cleaner was complete, the car looked like it had been waxed with the normal
over the counter wax products, and we had not yet applied the polish to the
car. We then got clean cotton rags, and started polishing the car in a up and
down motion (not circular) we applied the amount of a dime to a two foot
square area, and repeated until the car was finished. We allowed the car to sit
in the shade for 90 minutes before we attempted to remove the polish. The
application of the polish is about as easy as any wax or polish is, the
removal is what I was regretting because I opted to let it sit for 90
minutes. I refuse to use a buffer on the car, so I figured it would take a lot
of elbow grease to get this stuff off. Boy was I ever wrong. The removal of
the Polish is VERY EASY. We just wiped lightly over the car, and the haze was
removed leaving an INCREDIBLE shine. I was not surprised! We applied two more
coats of the polish allowing 90 minutes between each removal, and removal was
easier and easier each time. The car has like a silicon type layer over the
car, although you can't see it or feel it. It keeps the car free of dirt and
dust. In fact the day after we applied it, it started raining again, and we
didn't wash the car on purpose to see how well it would hold up. It still
looked like it was just polished, and not much dirt was sticking to the car.
We took the garden hose to it, and with a soft cloth (no wash) just wiped the
car down, and it all came clean, and looked better than new once again.
PRODUCT REVIEW PRESENT'S...
Here's the one we've all been waiting for...
This edition of product review comes in response to the the many questions I
receive from Camaro enthusiasts regarding finish protection and car care
products...
After extensive research on automotive finishes FINISH FIRST comes out on top
by offering a tuff line of high performance products...
Here's what we found...
FINISH FIRST car care products are based on synthetic polymers, similar to the
synthetic paint on newer vehicles. They contain no wax, silicone or Teflon.
FINISH FIRST uses a comprehensive approach that begins with a synthetic
emulsion cleaning agent that dissolves and removes old wax, tar, road film,
dirt and organic contaminants that cling to the paint even after washing.
FINISH FIRST is designed for any type of paint surface, and while it excels on
clear coat finishes, they suggest using FINISH PREP PreCleaner which uses the
same emulsion cleaner as above but in full strength for tough cleaning jobs on
older, oxidized or abused paint surfaces.
The most amazing thing is that it literally removes swirl marks that can turn
an exceptional paint finish into a nightmare... The concept behind this
emulsion results in a paint finish without any type of hand-rubbed wax
problems and leaves a scratch-free, new spray glow as if the paint were new.
Cleaning ability is just a part of an overall paint/finish product. FINISH
FIRST contains a synthetic polymer which bonds to the base paint or clear
coated paint surface. This synthetic coat cures into a tough, clear,
protective, mirror-like solid which protects and enhances the depth of gloss
which provides protection for 6 to 9 months in any weather condition. With
every additional coat you apply, you can see an increase in depth of gloss.
The manufacturer recommends applying a thin film over the entire vehicle and
letting it dry. This begins the process of filling in the swirl and scratch
marks. A drying time of at least 15 minutes is also recommended however, you
can extend this time to an hour, or day a week because unlike waxes, it never
becomes difficult to remove. If for any reason the protective film needs to be
removed, say for repainting, normal body shop sanding and preparation
techniques are adequate for total removal. Unlike organic waxes and silicones,
there are no adverse chemicals in FINISH FIRST to cause a problems in
refinishing or with surface repairs. This product is so perfected it even
comes with its own owner’s manual!!!
Thanks for a quick delivery. I have used Finish First polish for the
past six months and I find it to be the best polish out there. I have
been so impressed with it that I have been polishing everyone in my
family's car with my last can which caused me to run out and had to
order more. I find washing the car even easier and it stays cleaner a lot
longer. Keep up the good work. I'll be a life long user of Finish First.
Thanks again,
Tom Torelli
I went real heavy on the first two coats, another put on this weekend - the
shine is staggering!! I thought the other stuff I've used had good optical
qualities, but I was wrong. Time to order more - I'm becoming the car care
fanatic of the neighborhood...
PS: I've plugged your stuff on the web twice now. Thanks for your prompt
replies to all concerns... Daniel
I really like your products. I believe the finish holds
up longer than wax products. The polymer finish also
seems to clean the clear coat better. Wax products
just seem go over the top of water spots and other
foreign material. The FinishFirst seems to remove
most of the soil rather than just go over it.

Thanks for the follow-up! Yes, I have been able to spare the time to do
both the cleaner and polish. I'll just say that after years of using the
big "M", I'm now a Finish First convert. I didn't just "use" the other
stuff either, I was very religious about following the once-a-month
schedule. I am fortunate enough to have a garage and let the second coat of
polish set overnight...what a shine! My car, a black '97 Cobra convertible,
looks better than the day I drove it home! Everything that is advertised
about the product is true.
Thank you very much for an absolutely awesome product.
Sincerely,
Clint Bortell
Sr. Network Engineer-Northern Telecom'97 Cobra convertible
I think this is really great stuff, and I'm really happy I tried it. As soon
as I have time. it's going on our other car's, too gotta order some more of
the PreCleaner! Thanks for a good product that does exactly what it says it
will. My car looks as good that I just may enter the Vette in the next
Corvette show we attend!
John
My car shines better than anything. So off I went to return the Meguire's for
a full refund. The folks in the store had a hard time believing that I was not
happy when they looked outside and saw my car shining like a mirror. I had to
assure them that they definitely not seeing the results of their product. It
was the Finish First that made my car look so good.
Great Product!
Gary
All I can say is "WOW!!!", and that this stuff is really great. So far my car
has 4 coats of Finish First on and I plan to keep adding to it. I have used
many different polishes/waxes in the past, and Finish First beats them all
hands down.
Thanks for hooking me up with this great product!
